London is home to the iconic Big Ben and the Tower of London. There are plenty of sights to see. Whether it is places of historical significance, or centres of contemporary art and culture, London has it all to offer. Some of the most popular tourist sites in London include the London Eye, Trafalgar Square, St. James’s Park, The Tower of London, Buckingham Palace, and the list goes on and on.

Central London is surprisingly compact and walking around the city can be both a pleasure as well as convenient. The London underground, commonly referred to as the tube, is the oldest and largest underground network in the world. It is extremely efficient and the most affordable public transport around London. The famous black cabs of London are charming but can be heavy on the pocket!
London is hosting the 2012 Summer Olympics, and is likely to see a huge influx of visitors and tourists during that period. Most events are scheduled to be held in East London.
