How I Overcame A Struggle To Find Accommodation In Barcelona
As a particularly popular tourist destination, I always realised that coming by some decent accommodation in Barcelona during the month of August was going to be quite a task. And I wasn’t mistaken.
Although there were some higher graded hotel rooms available for the three weeks I required, I quite simply could not afford the bill that went along with it. I was looking at literally thousands of Euros.
After a wee bit if hunting around, I managed to come across a company that operates Barcelona apartments and thank goodness I did too. I managed to save around 700 Euros in total and actually ended up with larger accommodation that was a damn sight more suited to a longer stay in the city.
If I’m being honest, I wouldn’t really have thought about an apartment, especially if I were only contemplating a short stay, but after this immensely positive experience, apartments will always be the first type of accommodation on my wish list.
I love staying in hotels but feel that when you’ve seen one, you’ve pretty much seen them all. This is what I tend to like about apartments now; as they are more spacious; more luxuriously and individually appointed and they can end up saving a few bucks as well.
